HELP FOR TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
Join Jessica for her Conscious Discipline® session at the South Carolina Association for the Education of Young Children conference at the Columbia Marriott in downtown Columbia, SC (click here for a map). Come and discover a new way of thinking about discipline—the positive way! During this interactive workshop we'll explore beliefs and values regarding discipline, including how your beliefs impact you and your students. Based on current brain research, developmentally appropriate practice, and emotional intelligence, at this session you'll learn new ways to empower yourself and your students in ways that will ultimately build a community of learners. Choose from Friday, October 16 from 3 to 4 p.m. or Saturday, October 17 from 1:45 to 2:45. Visit the SCAEYC website to register.
And Jessica will present her Positive Discipline: A New Way of Thinking workshop for administrators of early childhood programs in December, hosted by Trident United Way's Child Care Resource and Referral of the Lowcountry division for its Director's Network. This three-hour training will take place from 9 to 12 on Saturday, December 12 at Trident United Way (click here for a map) in North Charleston, SC.
